Deposits in Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana have crossed Rs 27,695 crore, the finance ministry said.
It said a "good amount" has come to the banks as low-cost deposits. PMJDY, launched in August last year, savings bank deposit accounts, which can be opened with a zero balance.
